Who is responsible
This website, adapt-ive.co.uk, is run by Jim Claffey, trading as Adaptive Digital, Lincoln, United Kingdom. Questions about this notice or about your data may be sent to jim@adapt-ive.co.uk.
What this site collects
The site does not ask for an account, does not use a contact form and does not sell or share personal information. If you write by email, the message and your address are kept only for as long as needed to reply and to carry out any work that follows.
Analytics cookies
With your permission, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it: which parts of the journey are viewed, roughly where visits come from, the type of device and browser, and whether the email or LinkedIn links are used. Google Analytics sets cookies whose names begin with _ga.
- Nothing is loaded from Google until you choose Accept.
- Choosing Decline, or making no choice, means no analytics cookies are set.
- Analytics data is not used for advertising and is kept for up to fourteen months.
- Google processes the data on behalf of Adaptive Digital under its data processing terms. Google may transfer data outside the United Kingdom under appropriate safeguards.
The legal basis for analytics is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Other storage
The site stores two small items in your browser that are not cookies and are never sent anywhere: your analytics choice, and a note that you have already seen the opening screen during this visit.
Your choice
You may change your analytics choice at any time. Clearing it removes any analytics cookies and asks you again.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you may ask to see the personal information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. To do so, email jim@adapt-ive.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
